4.-9.Tag  Hazen Trek: Leaving the base, we'll hike along the shore of Hazen to the spectacular Henrietta Nesmith Glacier. We will follow the lateral moraine of the glacier inland and head up to Weasel Lake. Following the Nesmith River, we'll passing the Blister Ice Cap and Bridge and Arrow Glaciers. Following the Nesmith River, we'll then join into the Snow Goose River and follow it back to Lake Hazen and our base there. Trekking back to the Park Station, we'll overnight, clean up and meet our charter flight back to Resolute. This is an excellent, high arctic hike for the beginner to intermediate backpacker. The route contains a fantastic variety of experiences and a variety of terrain. There are no major creek or glacier crossings and the pace will be perfect for the hiker, with time for photography, observation and exploration.
